Today was a very good day. I believe that I ate intuitively today.
Breakfast: more yummy oatmeal with peanut & pumpkin butters and pecans (tomorrow I will have to try it with bananas….yum!); coffee & soymilk
First Lunch: Banana & 1 TB peanut butter (this is a theme)
Second Lunch: 2 small pieces of leftover lasagna from Thursday
Dinner: 3/4 cup of wheat pasta, tossed with 1 cup of steamed broccoli, 1 roma tomato, 1 TB toated pine nuts, 1 tsp olive oil & 1 tsp balsamic vinegar - sprinkled with salt & pepper & garlic; 10 oz beer
Dessert: Banana (my 2nd), 1 TB peanut butter & 1 TB pumpkin butter - satisfied my sweet tooth!
(Fruit & Veggie count: 2 fruits, 2 veggies - pretty good)
Water: 96 oz
Exercise: 8 mile run (woo!)
My dinner was too big, and once I realized that I was going to fill up before my plate emptied, I went through & picked all the broccoli & tomato bits out of my food. Tomorrow I can steam more broccoli & add it in to my leftovers. I felt satiated, but not full. Later, I wanted something a little sweet (in part to remove the garlic taste from my mouth), so I had another banana, sliced & mixed with a little peanut butter & pumpkin butter. A satisfying dessert!
